New software PC108 for WindowsTM is now available with version 3.20.  Two paths have been undertaken to make innovation and reinforce the potentialities of this software.

• the first one consists of the enrichment of some already well strengthened features such as the protocol decoding and the statistics pages for a smart reading and analysis of results. On this subject it’s necessary to stress the addition of the HTTP protocol decoding, the introduction of graphic statistics windows for BER Test, an alarm notification tool sending a warning e-mail triggered on special live events and some general improvements to the statistics windows;

• the second one deals with the analysis of VoIP systems with the new module VQ108, available with this version 3.20. Studied to face the huge entrance in the market of VoIP systems, this tool is able to offer different levels of services; so far, the following features are available:

o analysis and decode functions, H.323 and SIP extensive graphic statistics for a detailed characterization of the VoIP connection and for a quick discovery of problems occurring during signalling, VoIP calls journaling report to allow the technician to extract useful information from traces;

o advanced objective Quality of Service evaluation through the detection of quality parameters such as jitter and inter-arrival time, output of audio data for a subjective quality evaluation as well.

With this new version, PC108 for WindowsTM experiences a significant improvement entering successfully the VoIP world and integrating new features that, more than before, help and ease the work of the technicians and telcos personnel.
