The OR94 is ideal for LAN managers and installers who need to do simple attenuation tests on their single-mode networks. The testset includes:
OP80
The OP80  provides high output and stability in an economical price. The laser diodes use temperature compensated outputs, and are calibrated to couple -10dBm of optical power into singlemode fiber. The source is simple to operate with an intuitive 2-button interface - one button to control power and the other to select output wavelength. LED indicators highlight the selected source and verify that battery power is sufficient to maintain the calibrated output power. The OP80 is a laser-based light source designed to test singlemode fiber optic links. The LED indicator shows whether the unit is ON or OFF, and whether the battery has enough power to maintain its calibrated output power. Its dual-wavelength 1310 and 1550nm light sources provide dual wavelength testing that conforms to international testing standards. Lasers such as the ones in OP80 light sources produce intense beams of infrared energy that are invisible to the eye.
OP50
De OP50 is speciaal geschikt voor het controleren van multi- en single mode glasvezelverbindingen (LAN, datacommunicatie en telecom-municatie). De OP50 meet de optical power, optical loss en Insertion Loss (iL). De OP50 is eenvoudig te bedienen en de resultaten worden getoond op een LED scherm. Tevens is een toets aanwezig voor de "0" referentie. De OP50 heeft een bereik van +3 tot -52 dBm met 1 mm Ge en een connector van 2,5 mm. De OP50 is compact, lichtgewicht en heeft een stevige rubberen behuizing. The OP50 can store reference values for each wavelength to be used for optical loss measurements, and can display measurements in dBm, dB, and microwatts. The on-screen battery capacity indicator doubles as the battery charger display.
