The
BF15 is essential to anyone determining the
presence or absence of electrical voltage
between 50-1,000 AC. The BF15 allows the user
to detect a defective ground before an
individual is exposed to injury. Simply touch
the plastic tip to a connection point or move it
along a wire. If AC voltage is present, the tip
will glow red. Defective grounds can cause
either voltage or an electrical field to be
present on a metal casing. Both of these
conditions can be detected by using the BF15. |
